Internalized racism

Nowadays, even though laws are equal between races, things like interracial marriage are frowned upon in many countries and cultures. Parents do not allow companionship with a person of another ethnicity , who once had a rivalry with the nationality of the parents. When such situations exist, the new generations feel that their culture is a bit too oppressive, so they decide to leave and start a new life in another country, with more flexible culture and traditions .
In addition to discouraging interracial marriages and relationships, friendships are also strictly forbidden between families or villages that have been rivals in opinion and tradition in the past. Such behavior should change to take into account the new, more friendly appearance between villages and cities in our century, leaving hatred behind. Therefore, we should not remain attached to bad relationships because of a past event.

Racism also affects transactions and connections:

People-to-people friendships between people from different cultures can definitely be beneficial as they share their differences with each other, reducing internalized racism. Secondly, trade and the economy are strengthened. For example, a mountain village can trade ores and metals with a lowland village, in exchange for food and farm animals, so that both villages have what they need. If a farmer is friends with a miner, trade between them will be boosted, while racist comments between them will stifle trade between them. This example is crucial in highlighting the effects that friendships can have subconsciously.

While these are only mild acts of racism compared to what our ancestors had to deal with, racism is in our hands now, and if we want to end it, we can, the only challenge is that people will often stand against us and as racism can fall, it can also rise. We must act now if we want our future to be filled with people of all races, with different but respectful views and traditions. This is a goal that humanity has been waiting to achieve. Now if you are wondering how to do it, the solution is simple. Be open to communicating with people with a different perspective, a different skin color, and an interesting history and language, even if they don't all match your knowledge.

While people from different cultures may not share a skin color or a set of eyes, they share their humanity and that is what will always matter most at the end of the day.
