Tips for Coping with Stress

     Many of us are facing challenges that can be stressfull, overwhelming and cause strong emotions. Feeling nervous or have trouble sleeping and eating can all be normal reactions to stress.

Here are some healthy ways to deal with stress:

  • Be active: exercise won't make your stress disappear, but it can reduce some of the emotional intensity you are feeling.
  • Connect with people: a good support network can ease your troubles and help you see things in a different way.
  • Have some "me time": it's important to take some time and spend it while doing things you enjoy. It's relaxing.
  • Challenge yourself: setting goals and challenges can help you build confidence.

Ingredients...

  • 1/4 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 large handful chopped chard
  • 2 tablespoons greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 handful ice
- Place the ingradients in a blender and puree until smooth.
