Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi is the first book of the ''Shatter Me" series. It's about a 17-year-old girl named Julliette Ferrars. Julliette is locked up in a cell with only a small window with a view to the outside world. The gonverment locked her there because she killed a child only by touching it, and now she is dangerous to everybody. She is locked in this small cell for 264 days and has almost lost her mind, until one day someone sends a warrant to the gonverment to get her out. But when she is released, she is caught up in a society that wants to turn her into a weapon in a war against their enemies. There, she will be trained to fight and kill and will be put under many difficult situations. But the things she has to do to survive will break her and  her uncontrolled power may bring the world to its end.
