The new Gen Alpha obsession is this meme "6-7". But what does it mean?
Most people don't know what it means,they only say it because everybody is saying it. I'm not here to make it deep, just to tell you how it started.
So there's this rap song called "Doot Doot (67)" wich includes a lyric "six seeeven". This song was released in 2024. Then there was this kid on tiktok, who's known as "the 67 kid". He started pairing the song with the classic hand move, and that's how it became viral. People also started to pair this meme with the hight of an NBA player LaMelo Ball, wich happens to be 6foot 7.
Some people think that the meme started from a high school basketball game, where they were winning 6-7, but this information is wrong.
About "Doot Doot"
The song has the lyric "six seven! I just bipped right on the high way". The reason the song says six seven is because of a reference to the police code 10-67 wich is used to report a death. The rapper says that the phrase 6-7 doesn't have an actuall meaning.
Even tho the rapper didn't really pay attention to it, the kids on social media did and it now became a meme with no sense! Students shout it at every time possible like when the teacher says a random combination of the numbers 6 and 7. Or when someone turns to page 67 or 6 and 7 .Or even for no reason at all.
