Dance of Thieves is the first book of the "Dance Of Thieves" series. It follows the story of a young girl Kazi, who is a legendary former street thief and a 19-year-old boy, Jase Ballenger, who after his father's unexpected death is newly leading Tor Watch, the capital city of the Ballengers ancient dynasty. Kazi is sent by the queen to Tor Watch with two friends of hers to investigate some illegal activities that take place there and may harm the queen's kingdom in the future. There, she meets Jase who wants the other kingdoms to legally recοgnize his family's territory as a kingdom. When Kazi arrives, she gets into a fight with Jase without knowing who he is and somehow she and Jase got captured. Under these circumstances, they have to work together to escape. When, they find themselves in the desert, they join their forces to stay alive. After a few days and a lot of physical effort, they finally return toTor Watch. However, Kazi got there for a reason and must not step back; but after spending so many days together, Jase and Kazi find themselves caring for one another. Nevertheless, Kazi has something to investigate and Jase a kingdom to rule. So, despite their feelings for each other, they are still enemies and are trapped in a game of love and hate where they can't decide which side they are on. Will they succeed in their purposes and maybe earn a future together or their ways will be seperated forever?
